Air Velocity Sensor with Certified FLP Enclosure

This device measures the actual velocity of the air, flowing through the duct. It is based on the principle of Single Point / Multipoint Pitot Tube for measuring Air velocity. It measures Air velocity by determining the difference between static and dynamic pressure.

The velocity  varies according to the changes in density of the medium due to changes in temperature and altitude of the installation location. The POLYGON  Precision Air Velocity Sensor comes with built-in RTD & special algorithm  for Temperature & Altitude compensation.

The Pitot Tube is constructed from SS304 material and thus immune to corrosive gases. The control system is enclosed in a certified flameproof headmount enclosure. It is provided with compression fit glands for cables.
