Mimic panel & Silent alarm panel

The MIMIC Panels are generally customized and are made to order.

The fascia of Mimic Panels represent Layout of the floor and Area classification as ‘Zones’ covered under Smoke or Heat Detectors.

The Passive Mimic panels are used to locate the Fire Alarm System (FAS) Components and Emergency Exit and are placed at easily visible location. Passive panels do not incorporate any electrical connections, only Layouts are shown.

Whereas, Active Mimic panels, along with floor layouts, have Indication lamps for each zone to indicate occurred activation of Fire/Smoke and a Buzzer & an Acknowledgement Button to silence the buzzer. The panel is equipped for rapid visual appraisal of any Fire. The panel may also provide indication of fire and gas equipment status such as fire water pumps, foam system, etc.

The Silent Alarm panel is used for a fire alarm transmitted silently, usually by telephone, rather than by sounding the conventional signal or bell apparatus. Still alarms are commonly used to alert fire and medical personnel as to what type of emergency they are responding to.
